Can I have 2 different graphcis card and run Tri monitors?

Hi, I've recently i found my dual screen display to be a bit lacking in space, so I'm thinking of setting up a tri screen display adding another 22"

I know u can set up tri screen with SLI or crossfire having 2 of the same cards

but i have a 7900gtx which is quite old now and to get another one of them wouldn't be worth it (or anywhere near worth it)... plus i don't play games theses days

So I was wondering could i just get some cheap like 8500gt or something (what evers cheap and has 2 outputs) and configure it to run the other monitor?

if not whats the best way to setup tri screen display? i know they make USB connecting monitors but there quiet pricey

Yeah that will work just fine.

Yeah that's the easiest way to run tri-monitors, don't use any of those external USB solutions, they all suck.
