Dual monitor blinking.

At first I had this 22" HP, with 1680x1050, and decided to buy a 21.5" Benq, wich is 1920x1080, and everything is working just as it should when not on fullscreen.

But when I run Age of Empires 3, my secondary (wich is now the 22") monitor starts to blink at random. I can also hear a different pitch, of the monitor, between the blinks. Just like when changing the resolution. It does this on other gams too but much less. On some games it dosen't blink at all.
Actually it is no problem because I usually don't use the other screen that much when playing a game, but it starts to irritate after a while. So, any ideas how to calm down this thing?

I'm using Nvidia Geforce 8600 GT.

I plugged my laptop into a 42" HD tv last night to watch a film but had some blinking and lines across the screen while the film was on. The same film played fine on my 32" tv so im guessing my graphics chip couldn't cope with the big screen. Max res was used on both.

I understand as much about computers, as i do women  But maybe add a new graphics card?

I wer thinking of a new card, but decided to ask here first. But theres no other solution for this?

Maby I'll buy/build a top of the line computer someday. I'm not upgrading this one. Atleast much...

Im sure someone will give you a better answer soon. But if you're considering building a top of the range custom system(as i am) then it wouldn't hurt to buy a good graphics card now as you could always move it onto a new system!

Ofcourse, but I'm abit short of funds and I belive this computer still has its warranty. But some day...

And for some reason the flashing has decreased.

have you updated the grafic's cards drivers to the latest ones? you say it does it on some games, and much less to not at all on other games, this sounds like a software issue to me. (btw, the size of the screen doesnt matter, the resolution does, but its not the problem here I think.)
