i just bought this board (ASUS M4A78 PRO) from newegg a few minutes ago. its gonna be paired with my kuma 7750+ and my Jaton 8600GT. Gigabyte had a lower priced 780G but it had alot of negative newegg reviews, i wasnt sure if it was better or not. but i have some questions:

Should i have gone with Gigabyte or does ASUS make better boards?
Didnt see any reviews on the internetz, does asus include alot of overclocking options in the BIOS?
Did i make a mistake in getting this board or is it good quailty?

well guess what man i just canceled my m4a78 order and got the m4a78-e (nforce 750a sli) instead.

after i saw your post i thought about it and i have no need for onboard video and hooking up sli with my 9600GT in the future would be badass. so i changed up my order and got 750a instead

So yeah thanks for mentioning it... xD
