How much could I sell it for?

First off if this is in the wrong place i apologize! but i think its ok here?

anyway..
I'm selling my desktop and would like to know how much money I could get for it.

CPU: AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core 5600+ (2.8 mhz)
MOBO: M2V-MX ASUS
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT 512 MB
RAM: 2GB CORSAIR
PSU: HIPER 530watts
HD: WESTERN DIGITAL 160GB 7200 RPM
OS: Windows XP Home Edition

If i missed anything please let me know, and thanks.
 
Probably $250-350 USD. $400 would be asking a bit much...

Umm... no you can't. The GPU + CPU is around $160 new, and the OS is $80, then there's the mobo... I can't find a price on that anywhere, but let's say $50 for that. The PSU is probably about $30 (can't find that model anywhere.) And then the HDD is probably $30, maybe $20. And then there's $25 for the RAM. Then of course there's the case, probably $30 for that. That's a little over $400...

I just built 2.6Gig X2 system with 2Gigs of RAM for under $300.00
Pretty close to same specs, except the gpu.

He's not going to get new prices for his system anyway.

Well the GPU makes a big difference. Sounds like I have a very similar system to yours, and I only paid $200 for it, but then I already had half the parts. If I were selling the OP's rig I'd probably be asking about $300 USD for it.
 
Ok, you're right. You can't build that exact system for $300.00

But, I doubt he'll get that much for a used pc. I was just trying
to make a point.

You may be better off selling the components you want to replace
to pay for your new stuff. Just a thought.
