Hi everyone I just did a malwarebytes scan and found the userinit.exe to be infected with a trojan agent, i had malwarebytes delete it and when i rebooted my computer, scanned again and its still there, i also(when my computer boots) get a little red button with a white x in it that says i have a security problem, i know that that is part of the trojan problem, can anyone help me get rid of this thing!!!!

Thanks alot!:D

Userinit.exe can't be cleaned. My son's computer has the same thing. You will either need to do a fresh install by formatting and reinstalling windows or try copying the userinit.exe file from a different computer onto the infected one but you must delete the infected one, use a boot disk to delete the infected one. I've heard this procedure may or may not work and may have to format anyway.

Download superantispyware thats an amazing virus remover and its free. Got rid of all my trojans on my PC and they never came back.

yes i had the same problem until i try this anti-Trojan software and it wipe off the Trojan virus.u too can check it out.

No matter what program he uses it won't delete the userinit.exe file, its protected.
