BSOD Problems

Right, i posted about a blue screen issue about a day ago and i stopped by PC World earlier today and asked them what could be wrong and he told me he can take my pc in for a diagnostics check for £15.00 GBP is there anyway that I perform one myself to find out what is casuing the error message. cheers guys

ok rlly...

i cant stress this enough. when you take in your comp, thell keep it an hour or so... then say theres nothing rong, or say its something it isnt and charge you more money...

its nothing to worry about

he actually said that I have hardware problems because of this message and he needs to run the diagnostic check (£15) and also when he has found out what part is faulty which he stated could be either faulty ram, hard drive and rarely the graphics card. He will charge me for that piece. Is this right? will i continue to see these blue screens? I want this to be the first and last time I see this........

ok, heres what you do....

Since your music started skipping, right before BSOD its probably an overload on the ram...

heres your 2 choices...
IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN!!!!
Get differnt RAM, its cheap...
If it happens ANOTHER time...
go waste some cash with the guy

He will charge me for that piece. Is this right?
No. Although probably an honest businessman, he'll charge you in store retail
price for whatever component he deems the problem.

Kindly pay him for his diagnostic, and to tell you what the problem is, then
go buy the component yourself online for 1/3 of the price. =D
