Will Crysis Run On This Rig

Yeah it will. If your buying from there, and you can afford it, I would suggest you get the E7400 though.

Its the CPU (processor). Where it says processor on that list, it currently has the E5200, in the drop down box you can select the E7400 for £75 more. It might be best if you mention what your budget is then me or someone else can find the best deal. I assume you would want pre-built?

well i am 13, and my mum is buying it for me for christmas, so im just trying to make sure i have the best thing i can get for that sort of budget before i go for it and end up spending £500 on a box full of useless parts that wont even run pong.

from another forum i got this...
Its got a pretty good processor speed, and the rest of the parts are more than capable. Only thing I would possibly change is spending £9.99 in the customisation options to go for 800MHz RAM, instead of 667MHz. Also you'll notice a huge difference in spending the extra £20 to get the next graphics card up - an 8800GT is more than capable, but a 1GB card will blow a 256MB one out of the water.

I'm no expert, but based on my own experiences, I'd say you'll be alright running it at Medium at full resolution at the very least with that setup. But spending that £30 more could make a hell of a difference.

Yeah that sounds good. As I said before though. If you can also afford the better processor get that too, as well as what the guy from the other forum suggested. And he's right, it should run Crysis on medium settings. Christmas is a while off so you'll probably find the parts will be cheaper by then. I would suggest asking again closer to the date. Computer technology moves very fast so you might find you will be able to get better parts by then.

installing the OS is not a problem, as long as i get the OS disc with it XD

again its vista, vista hates games.... especially source games such as gmod (the ones i play a lot)

Ok. If we're lucky Windows 7 could be out by Christmas so you could buy that instead. I run Vista Ultimate and I notice hardly any difference in gaming performance. Plus that bundled deal I posted has 4GB of memory so you wont have a problem. I only have 2GB.

hmm im gonna go with the one i found first, get sp1 and what the guy on the other forum said.

thanks
