Windows 98 Anyone?

Damm your right. i also know people that won't leave 98. ive said many times but they won't leave. these are people that are happy and dont like change. these are the same people driving home from work and take the same path every day. if there is a traffic jam, they will stay in the jam until it opens. won't take a side street or work around for maybe construction. just sit there until it clears. there are other computers i also liked. Digital group pdp 11 (8080 processor). TRS-80 (Z80) and my big step up. Commodore Amiga with a color monitor.

Very true in the business world, and not just for familiarity and reluctance to change. It can be exceedingly expensive to upgrade a corporate wide network. When a lab/manufacturer I used to work for decided to finally upgrade from Windows 95 to Windows 98, it was a multi-million dollar endeavor - 90% of that cost was in licensing. To my knowledge they were still using Windows 98 back in 2004.
