i7 950 & 975 Do you think prices will drop on the 920?

I am planning on building an i7 system this summer, and I am wondering if I should wait till the end of summer in hope that prices will drop.

Intel is supposed to release a 950 and 975 I think by the end of May. Do you think prices will drop on the 920? Any guesses as how much they could drop?
 
i doubt they would drop much at all, i can see the 940 being dropped to a lower price until it is sold out, at which point it will probably be discontinued
 
Look at the Core 2 Extreme that price sill hasn't dropped and the i7 smokes it

From what I heard, Intel unexpectedly released the new i7 processors that were lower in price than the Core 2 Extreme processors and the vendors were left to deal with bad predicament they were left in.

In my opinion the vendors should just eat the loss and sell as many of the Core 2 Extreme processors as they can for around $800. As time goes on they are just going to be harder and harder to get rid of.

Man, the Core 2 Extreme QX9775 is a 150 Watt processor. Now that is a power hungry beast.
 
I hate the people that buy it from 2009 :/ they probably don't check other processors they see the word Extreme & $1500 next to it they probably think it's the best
