I had the OCZ XTC RAM cooler on my Ballistix and it did a great job, cheap, too.

If I got the Dominators, I don't think I'd get the fan with them (nor would I use the OCZ Cooler, it wouldn't fit). I have a 200mm fan right above them exhausting and a 120mm in front of them blowing onto them, so they won't get too hot. Plus, I'll only be running them at stock speeds.

That'll be good enough.

I got that OCZ XTC RAM cooler too and its awsome. Its really worth the price. I have OCZ Platinum Ram and personally I've never had a problem with OCZ.

I've been planning on getting the Dominators as well, but I was wondering should I bother with the fan? Or save the money and get without. I'll be running them at 1066mhz but may go higher if I need to when I OC my CPU. My case currently only has two 120mm fans, one exhaust and one blowing from the front. The front of my case is all solid though so the front fan doesn't do a real lot, so you can imagine the airflow isn't great. Sorry to hijack your thread Danny, but its sorta related and sounds like you've already made up your mind :)

Sorry to revive an old thread.
The Reapers are £50, whilst the Dominators are £64. I'll probably just go for the Reapers 'cause I don't think the difference, if any, is worth £14.

What voltage would I run 'em at? I've heard people say they needed 2.2v, but OCZ specify 2.1v?

Just keep the memory voltage set at auto. If you OC the RAM, you'll obviously want to up the voltage a bit. If you have probs booting or starting up with the voltage set at auto, install your old sticks and bump the voltage in the BIOS. I doubt you'll have any issues with the auto setting though...
