I just installed my old computer back up and installed it's latest video graphics software from Nvidia.com But whenever I go to youtube and some video's skip a little but in full screen it skips badly! I don't no why though? Do you?

P.S: All Videos skip from anyware Example: FamilyguyX.com or movie forumz. Every where it does this!

Install the motherboard chipset drivers.

To check what drivers are needed go to your Device Manager. Right click on my computer and go to Device Manager, look at your chipset type and go to the manufacterer and install the chipset drivers and anything else required.

That is a pain in the ass. It has never done this before though. Also I dont feel like buying the chipsets.

Who said anything about buying chipsets? You don't have to buy anything, unless you have a failing piece of hardware. First thing first, try updating your chipset drivers and then the video card driver. You also might need a new video codec package, try www.divx.com. It's possible but less likely that it could be an internet issue.

Is your computer a custom build or one bought from a store? If custom built then go to motherboard maker and download the chipset driver. If store bought(Dell, HP, Gateway, Compaq, etc.) go to makers website to download the motherboard drivers.

You said you also downloaded the new video drivers. Was it working properly before that? If so, then just rollback the driver.

Correction, a pain in the ass is someone who asks for help, claims to "never done it before" but still argues and whinges.

You have to install your chipset drivers post new installation. Period.

It is a compaq. And the graphics card is sucky I think. That is why it is not playing full screen good. My graphics card is:

NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400

Is that a low graphics card? In games example: Counter Strike Source it kinda skips just a little when everything is in low quality.

Just wanted to add that the computer I am using sucks. I am just setting it up for my 8 year old cousin. It is not that important to me if the computer does not play video's very well. But My cousin will watch a video even it was 70% Skippy! He is weird! I cant stand having to play a game and having it skip even twice or once! But he got excited and I feel bad that he broke his ps2 because his brother stomped on it. But that ps2 was about to crash anyway. So I just said that is a pain in the ass because I don't have the money or want to install a chipset into the pc. But ya now I understand that the chipset I don't need to put in the PC but to install it from the internet :P

P.S: I do appreciate the help though.

P.SS: How can I get the chipset driver? What website? Also I dont no how to find wha kind of chipset I have.

Unfortunately your computer is too underpowered then. If all the acceleration drivers are installed correctly, the chipset drivers installed etc, then your CPU and embedded GPU are too underpowered for any further video acceleration. Sorry.
