More Bad Gaming News

I saw this one coming a mile away. You can't be in development of one game for a decade and expect to stay in business
 
lol Now that's actually funny. The EA stuff isn't, but this is... I mean, what company in it's right mind would even consider spending 12 years to make a single game? If said company ever did release the game that took 12 years to make wouldn't it be filled with old technology? If not they must of spent years just so that the game would be completely up-to-date when it was released.

Lol thats true. I was looking forward to that game, I could have sworn I saw screen shots in a gaming mag awhile back.

There were duke forever screenshots floating around last year I think...maybe the year before. Who knows what was real and what was a just an artist making a render though. I mean they supposedly switched engines how many times? If there was any actual development going on I'd be amazed.
 
What was with all of the big hype of this game? I have Duke Nuke'em Time to Kill on PSX and it was pretty good, but nothing that revolutionary.

The problem is all the exploits that the game allows which causes people to get pissed when someone cheats against them and they end up leaving the game.

Edit* Mortal Online is the one I have my eye on right now as it looks like Oblivion except with better graphics and skill based FPS MMorpg

How do you sign up for the betas?

I wouldn't mind trying it out for free but when you have a straight up complete open world the game will just reward those who play the most, which is one reason why I hate mmos. I don't want to invest 6 hours in one night to do a raid. I like to hop on line, kill stuff, hop off line be social, do chores, cook dinner, go out, then maybe hop on line a bit after or the next day.

The reason I like MO is that it is supposed to be skill based so even if someone is has higher stats than you, you can still beat them if your keyboard skills or game tactics are better as well as beautiful graphics and open world.
