i'm going to buy the following computer:

AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition Box
Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-US2H
Seagate ST31000333AS 3.5" 1000GB SATA2 32MB
Mushkin DDR2 4096MB (2048MBx2) 800Mhz CL 4-4-4-12 XP Gold
Antec Three Hundred
Corsair CMPSU-400CX 400W
Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD4770 512Mb DDR5


my question is if the HD4770 is better then Geforce 9600GT?
and which company is better: Gigabyte or Sapphire (ATI Radeon HD4770 series)?

Here's some benchmarks for various cards, but the two you mentioned are not on there,
but it may give you an idea of where they would be on the list by their model number.

Also, Gigabyte and Sapphire are both good brand names.

This reviewer found the 4770 outperforms the 9600GT by an average of 6%

Just look at benchies between a 4830 and 9600gt, and then add about 10% to the 4830, as the 4770 is on average 10% faster than a 4830. Its prolly more than a 6% difference, as the 4830 competed with the 4830, and the 4770 is faster than the 9800gt:
