the installation of windows 7 is just like reformatting windows xp?
i mean ... i should make a back up to files, i should have the motherboard CD, and all drivers' CDs??

yes, it will format you hard drive..
you always want to have backups of your files. win7 installed most of my hardware drivers, but as long as you can get on the internet to download the rest, you should be fine. go to device manager and figure out what installed and what didn't.
