Monitor on 24 or more

what happens if i leave the monitor on, for 24 hours ..
(leave my whole desktop computer on). but i'm mostly worried about my monitor.

it's LG 22" LCD

Backlight will age quicker, i would recommend setting your power options to allow your displays to sleep while ur gone.
 
nothing...should be fine,But why would you want too?

Your system might put it into standby mode after a certian amount of time.
 
because my older LCD monitor that i bought 3 months ago, became color-deformated.
i wonder it was because of the speakers, or leaving it on for 24 hours.

You running vista? Try disabling the color profile. Leaving a monitor on or the speakers wont affect color, speakers dont affect lcd's color.
 
I'm sure if it's on standby (goes on standby automatically) it'll be fine, but if you don't have a screensaver or standby, it will waste a lot of energy, and I'm sure it's not good for the monitor.
Unless your planning on being on the computer for 24+ hours... In that case it's probably not good for your eyes, or social life for that matter.

no. i'm not infront of the mointor for 24 hours. i just leave it on. that's all. i've enabled "turn off monitor after 15 minutes" in control panel-power options.
