drivers for enthernat controller

hello

i have a toshiba tecra m1 laptop
just reinstalled windows xp
am able connect wirlessly
but through network cable

went to device manager yellow symbol on enthernet controller
so want to download driver for this device

would i get driver download from toshiba or download from microsoft

Toshiba should have the drivers for your ethernet, Windows Update in XP may have them, but toshiba would be the best bet.

i looked but did not find no M1 laptop. seen M10 but not M1.

You could call or email Toshiba with the serial number on laptop. they will know. then i would download all drivers and flash. would not do the flash though unless ya need it or helps solve a specific problem.
