Hey i've got a few questions haha
firstly will i be able to use the following graphics cards with this mobo?
Asus M3N78-VM AM2+ GF8200 5200MT DDR2 PCIEx16 RAID GbLAN mATX
Secondly if the video card will fit in this case
Omnia ATX Midi towe case (1966) 500W Black
Thirdly which one do you think is best?
And Lastly when the video card says DDR2/3/5 etc. Does this have any reference to where it says DDR2 in my mobo? or is that just for RAM.

1. XFX GeForce 9800GTX+ 512M DDR3
2. Gigabyte Radeon HD4870 1GB GDDR5 PCIE2.0 DVI HDCP HDMI ZALMAN FAN
3. Gigabyte GTX260(216SP) 896M OC DDR3 PCIE2.0 2xDVI TV-Out HDCP HDMI

its a biggy haha sorry
thanks in advance

Links to the stuff you're wishing to purchase really helps :P Is this case a standard tower? If so, I don't see why most any video card wouldn't work. Just confirm the PSU has about 30+ amps on the 12 volt rail(s).

The GTX260 appears to have the best specs, but I'd still look around for benchmarks to see how they really perform.

The RAM on the GPU is completely independent of the motherboard's RAM.

I agree with the above. The Video cards, it pretty much a toss up between the 4870 1GB and the GTX 260. Since your board has a Nvidia chipset and doesnt have SLI or C/F I would probably go with the GTX 260. If that 500W means your running a Power Supply that came with the case, you might have a problem.

Here's the product decription for my mobo
Product Description:
AMD® AM2+ Quad-Core CPU/AM2 CPU Support
NVIDIA GeForce 8200 Chipset
Hybrid SLI Support
HyperTransport 3.0 and PCIe 2.0 Ready
HDMI/Full HD Support
Smooth Blu-ray / HD DVD Playback
Multi Displays Support
DX10 Support
Instant Internet Access with Express Gate™

it says it has hybrid SLI is that what you mean?

and yeah i bought the case and the powersupply already installed do you think that is a problem?

Here is the link to the 4870

aaand the 260GTX

With a GTX 260 or 4870 it has a minimun requirement of around 500W with about 35/36 amps on the 12V rail. And thats a quality Power Supply. Power Supplies that come with cases are usually cheapos that dont even meet what they claim.
