Which VC?

Bear with me I am a little newbish when it comes to determining good VCs. I am building a new computer and I am not sure what I should do for the VC. I want to do a 2 way SLI/Crossfire but I heard rumors of the next GTX cards coming out soon and them having DX11 capabilities. So should I get a single VC and wait for the new GTX, get one really good card, or 2 in SLI/Crossfire? And even after that I have no idea what would be a good VC. I have seen that the ATI has high specs (although I do not know what they may mean I always saw higher as better) and lower prices, are there any upsides the the current GTXs? and if I am going to use a 2 way set up I do not want the VCs costs to exceed 350$ apiece. please help me figure this out.

Wait for the new nvidia GT300 architecture or the Radeon 5xxx Series.
