EVGA Classified x58 ....dual bios?

Does the Classified board have dual bios? (like the Gigabyte extreme...)

BTW - I am thinking of getting the Classified board, but I used to have my eye on the Gigabyte Extreme... any side notes on that?
 
DualBIOS is only available through Gigabyte. It is there trademark product so to answer your question, no, EVGA x58 does not have DualBIOS on its main board.

yeah...but I do not want to look at my comp down the road and think "damn, should have just got the EVGA board..."...
is it really worth it?
...what advantages are known over the Gigabyte extreme?
I heard EVGA has good support / warranty...not sure about Gigabyte though...
 
I always chose EVGA for all other boards because with them, if something happens your hardware, they have lifetime warranty so you always know that if it breaks you can ship it out to them and have it fixed or replaced.

that is exactly what I was saying - it will help you when you overclock too far or too much and revert back to original bios settings....don't you think that is helpful? -on the other hand you could just reset/clear the bios right?....

Asus have had the option to save your bios settings for years now, it is nothing new, they manage to do it on one chip rather than 2, even a jumper reset won't clear your clock settings.

For the board i would go EVGA just the lifetime warranty. They are both latest and greatest so will perform well but when it does eventually conk out or if you accidentally do something that messes it up then you won't have to worry that you will be severely out of pocket
