Internet connection issues.

Introduction:
Well, I'm a shy person, so I haven't talked my ISP for help yet. I hear they have bad customer service though...(Comcast)

Anyways, my situation is that I have this Windows ME and the last time I used it was a year ago because something happened and I pretty much freaked out.
(A year later, I've matured extremely and looking through the files on the old computer makes me wonder how I was that stupid.)

Situation/Debrief:
The problem is that my computer won't connect to the internet with the broadband my brother is paying for monthly. Pretty much there is a router with three wires, one that connects to "linksys"(a wireless router), a wire that connects to the wall(Network), and a wire that connects to a power outlet.
From the wireless router is the one wire connecting to the router, one wire connecting to the power outlet, and the last one connects to the computer modem(Compaq Windows ME).

I don't know the prefixes and abbreviations for a lot of internet terms and looking them up only furthers my confusion. Now, I'm guessing the wire that connects from the wireless router(linksys) to my computer modem is called a ethernet cable, amirite?

Tried Solutions:
I searched a lot, but comcast seems to have lost their entire database on their FAQ section. The best guide I found was this:
http://www.nova.edu/help/internet/ethernet/win95.html
but I tried it with the existing Ethernet Adapter(so I'm pretty sure its a ethernet) and a new one I configured, but no luck.

I tried going to IE and tabbing to Tools>Internet Options>Connections>Setup and tried setting up a LAN(whatever that is >.>), but no progress.

By typing "winipcfg /all" into run, it actually shows that it detects my internet connection and I can renew the licenses directly, yet I still can't connect to the internet. What's going on?

~Cheers, and I hope I posted this in the right section.

Try reinstalling the driver for the network card. Look in device manager for any unknown devices. Also its possible that the computer is infected and you it won't let you browse anywhere. In which case you need to download and run Malwarebytes antimalware. Have you tried booting to safe mode with networking to see if it works there? Look in "msconfig' startup tab to see if there any strange programs or files loading at bootup that is stopping you.

I don't know who installed the "driver for the network card" and I don't know where it is or how I would get one. >.>

I looked in the device manager, nothing strange.

There could be problems in my system32, I keep getting random messages saying it couldn't run etcetc.dll or whatever. They're probably corrupted or something, should I just download the .dlls on a usb and transfer them over?

As for startup, nothing strange. I doubt I have any malware on my computer.

Here's what I see when I type "winipcfg /all."

~Cheers, I'm kind of trying everything and stumbling around...

You very well could be infected. Please follow the instructions here to download Malwarebytes and hijackthis and post the requested logs. You will have to download from another computer and transfer via usb flash drive and then install that way.

EDIT: Opps, I didn't read.

Well, that failed pretty quickly, lol.

~Cheers, thx for doing this >.> I'm pretty lost as I said.

EDIT #2:
