Something is really messed up

Yesterday, I decided to format my computer, since it was due for one. Got everything installed. Updated Windows. Everything. Then this morning, it's working fine, and then all of a sudden the screen goes blank. No signal. Reset. While restarting, everything shows up on the monitor, but as soon as it gets to the Windows welcome screen, goes blank. WTF. I was able to get into Safe Mode, and delete my graphic driver. Restarted. Was able to get into Windows. Reinstalled my graphics driver. Restart. Windows Welcome screen comes, and go blank again. Did it over again. I have tried ATI drivers 8.5 and up. I can't get into Windows when I have a driver installed. Just safe mode. I have never ran into this issue before. So easier to put it, with installed ATI drivers installed Windows won't load, but will load into Windows with no drivers installed. I even reinstalled Windows this morning to see if it might have been a bad install. Still did the same thing.

Computer Specs:

C2D E8400 @ 3GHz
DFI LP DK X48
Diamond Radeon HD4870 1GB
Mushkin Redlines DDR2-1000 2x2GB
WD Black 640GB
Corsair TX750W
Windows Vista Premium 64-Bit

You have two very similar systems , you could try swapping the ram first , boot up , if no joy swap the graphics card.

Accually, it's just one system. Sometimes people don't look at the sig. So I just post the system specs too.

But someone suggested me to try Windows 7. So i'll give that a shot. Hoping that might solve the problem.

But i'm wondering, could a faulty PSU possible cause this to happen? Cause this is the 2nd TX750W cause my 1st one has was faulty.

hmm, did you open the machine at all?
are you sure you're using the latest drivers?
just grabbing a few straws

I opened it up to blow any dust that might have been on the card itself. I also reseated it too and made sure the fan was spinning.

For the drivers, I downloaded the 9.5 drivers off the AMD/ATI site

Well lastnight, I did numrous of things and nothing seemed to work. So I decided to install Windows 7. After that was installed, everything was working the way it should be.
