Can my rig support 1920x1200?

I'm going to be running a Phenom 2 550 OC'd to around 3.6, with a OC'd 4890 and 4 gb of ram. Will I be able to comfortably run on 1920x1200 or should I just settle and be safe with a 1680x1050?

Depends what games you plan on running.

Yeah you should be able to run most games on that but others like Crysis might be a bit harder

Eh you should be good with 1GB but worst case you can SLI later when games require more "heave"

I'm looking to play Supreme Commander, (I know this will be a bitch no matter the res ) and Crysis. If I would buy a 1920x1200, would games still look fine if I set them to run at 1680x1050?

Not really, just dont run them on all super high settings, native res with a few settings lowered looks alot better than maxxed at non native res anyhow. AA is a performance killer, run only like 2x or 4x AA and you should be alright..

i run supreme commander high as everything goes no problems you should be fine
