Ok I have been planing to build a new computer and I think it is finally coming into play - here is my setup so far ..

CPU: *Core i7 920
Mobo: *EVGA x58 Classified
PSU: *1000hx Corsair ?
Ram: ...something 2000 mhz, & good for overclocks and stability/longevity..hopefully no more than $200 give/take...
Case: *Cooler Master HAF
GPU: *BFG 295 GTX --not changeable, already have it...
CPU Cooler: *Cooler Master V8

I will be using my old hdd and dvd drives, and I have a 23" screen already....

You would recommend those over any others?...
..over some corsair dominators even? (do they even make those in 2000 mhz?)...

Yeah, for the price you cant beat it. The corsair dominators are over $400 and honestly, not worth it. G.skill, Mushkin, and Patriot are my preferred memory brands, and they are also pretty much the best imo.

I intend to overclock, do you believe they will perform well?...or should I look towards better ram if I am going to be overclocking...

I just want a smooth / VERY stable computer....

Yes, they are good memory. When overclocking all you'll need to do is set a memory divider so they run at around their right speed;) Personally id go with the mushkin over the g.skill, both are excellent memory and id recommend them 100%, but i feel mushkin is prolly the best memory made overall. Plus it has lower timings(for cas latency, lower=better)
