Did i buy a bogus card?

I purchased an ati radeon x1650 pro from ebay, it was advertised as having 12 pipelines and 128-bit memory. here is the link:

Now, I decided to open up atitool today, and i clicked on settings. I was shocked to see that it reported 64-bit memory and only 4 active pipelines.
have i been sold a bogus card? I have the tax invoice, could i return the card and demand a card that has the listed specificatins?
If atitool is correct, I am not a happy customer. I probably will take this up with an ebay dispute. :gun:

before you go all gung ho about this, look at the seller, over 24.5k sells and 99.9% possitive, they aren't the scamming type. First take it up with them, ask them if they shipped the right card, if the utility is correct etc, tell them your problem and you want either a fix to get it how it should be working or a replacement of the card you actually bought

I sent the seller a message (not angry or threataning) explaining the situation and asking if the program could be correct and w/e, i havent taken up any dispute or anything yet. and if the card is defective i still have the tax invoice, and as the card was bought new, it has 1 year warranty. So this should cover me if i need to send it back for replacement. You are right about the seller, that is the reason i actually bought it from that seller.

The Amaze site he listed doest list the card and he said it was a HIS card, but its listed as a Amaze. Could have been HIS that made the card, not for sure. And you are right a 1650 pro is 12 Pipes and 128 bit memory. Dont know if they ever made one with the 1650, but ATI made some that were called a SE model. Only had 64 bit memory and had some pipes turned off. Could be you got a 1650SE model not a 1650Pro.

it isnt an SE. the driver and device manager clearly state thats its pro.

and for nvidia cards:

The Ati one specifies 128 bit memory and 12 pipelines for the 1650 pro. Those tables are quite handy actually. Bookmarked.

it also appears now that the card has DDR memory instead of DDR2. This isn't looking very good. No response from seller yet.

RivaTuner is reporting 128-bit memory. now i am confused. will get that GPU-Z shot.
I can't post a shot, but GPU-Z says 12 pipelines, 5 vertex shaders, 128-bit, DDR2 memory.
I think ATitool is incorrect.
It also appears that GPU clock is 6mhz under default and memory clock is 397mhz above default.
I belive that GPU-Z is more accurate than atitool. Guess i better let the seller know i made a mistake.

DDR2 will show double the "actual" memory clock. If atitool says 400mhz, its double data rate =800mhz. 128bit is the memory bus width, larger size in bits the more memory bandwidth.

I know that.
lol, i just remembered that my old GF6200 had GDDR3 memory. shame it was only 64 bit.

i got a response from the seller, and they where perplexed at the question. I went ahead and explained the atitool was incorrect and not to worry.
all is good now.
