steam: counter stike source

Ok so I just bought CS: source....everything works except sumtimes it says "cannot connect to master server"...then sometimes ill connect to a few servers...but theres only like 10 to chose from and they all have high latency and wat not...i dunno wats up? any ideas?

Would you mind telling us your exact filters setting?

Because I'm in Aus and when (if I do) connect to a US server my latency is only like 120-150 (it's good if I'm from a another country) so you should get less than 100 easy.
What are your computer specs and what settings is CSS on?

EDIT: looked at your sig.
I wouldn't know what the problem is unless you got some freaky country selected as your main search thingo.
 
Yeah I tried playing css with dial up and it failed horribly :D all 300+ pings I love the game played it at my grandma's house (can only play vs bots now pff)
