32bit OS not recognising RAM greater than 4GB??

Yes, I agreed that I was wrong. I think It would be Ideal if we could create a sticky that explains all of this In depth so we don't have any more of these post.

yup, i was just thinking of a sticky on this topic, when I saw this thread, again on the same topic. I, myself posted one thread about this in this forum when I had just joined this forum. And this was the very reason why I joined this forum, cause I wanted to know the answer.

That was a really long discussion - you guys lost me half way through!! But never mind, I now know what's going on with the RAM, I think.

That is what this forum is for. Education. I've been a part of many debates where I have been wrong. The important thing was that I learned from them.
