Hello all,

I'm currently using my Nokia N70 as an external modem when I travel abroad (Thailand) I was wondering if there were any hardware that is a bit more stable. I use a USB connection to my phone but my phone keeps disconnecting (i think its a connection issue with my phone / usb area) I need something that I can put my data sims card in and possibly connect using the card slots? Anyways thanks for your help!

(or even a better phone)

I'm currently using 32 bit xp but thinking about upgrading to a new laptop also! probably with vista... it seems a lot of new computers are using 64 bit...but i can always reinstall 32 bit no prob!

thanks again

David

Might also be worth trying a new USB cable.

I'm not familiar with any hardware that you can put your SIM in and then in the card slot. Try the easier and cheaper stuff first.
