options are dual core pentiumD 2.8ghz and pentium4 3.0ghz (630)

i swap the pentium D for the 630 with no extra charge. price stays the same. did i made a mistake?

dual core is always going to be better then a single core with a slightly faster clock speed.

Doesn't really matter. It's 2009 - any decisions made in 2004 should be irrelevant. Especially in the computer world. Just make sure you choose the right CPU for yourself when you buy the next one.:good:

damm was hoping i made the right choice. back there i never heard of pentiumD and not familiar with it. i thought its gonn be some cheap line such as sempron so i scrap it and get a familiar p4 3.0ghz HT 630 instead with no extra charge. later on found out the pentiumD was a dual core then starting to concern and regret.
