Virtual disc

Hi I need a little help to get a game running on my laptop.
I doesn't have a cd drive and therefore I just installed the game through my USB but I need to put the cd in the cd drive before it can start the game. So I want to use a program such as daemon tools or poweriso to make a virtual disc...
The problem is that I seem to need a image of the game before I can mount it and because I didn't download the game illegaly I dont already have a image, so how do I get a image I can mount?

Getting an image of anything from games to software is illegal.
Your best bet now is to buy the game and make a custom image for it.
Or buy an external cd/dvd drive

Yes I got the game and need an image of this, and the question is how to get an image of the game which I have the cd and cdkey for and is fully installed already, only problem is that because I dont have a cd drive I can't put the cd in the cd drive in order to open the game...

hmmmm you can't make an image when the game is installed.
You're kinda between a rock and a hard place...lol :P
bottom line, get an external drive

makes no sense to be honest...I brought all the data legally and now I basically just to be able to open it without needing to put a cd into my cd drive, I dont get how that would ever be illegal since I already got the rights to the game...

Thing is, others may see it as you copying the game and distributing it. I don't care if that's your intention or not, you come here to learn and we help but in some cases, it's doesn't work.

And about the games, 99% of games even as ISO images will ask for cd-key, unless the game was pre-cracked to bypass the key <-- which leads to my above post

okay, I guess I just need to face that programs such as daemon tools and poweriso never was intented to use legally

I disagree completely. I won't even get started on a senseless rant about the hipocrisy that is copyright infringement in the 'land of the free,' but Daemon has tons of legal uses, and I am a proud user of it. Rights to software = Software backups

Whether or not one could create a tutorial meant only for legal purposes, probably not :P
