Need to upgrade

Okay here is the thing. I am currently pretty low on cash. Infact, I only have $100 at the moment, and will not get enough money to build a new comp for about 1-2 months. Basically My current computer sucks pretty hard. It doesn't play games good at all. The thing is that I want to make my computer better for gaming for under $100. I dont need it to be super good, just enough to run fallout 3 low or maybe even medium settings with no lag. Again, it cant go over the $100 dollar range. I dont know if getting a better CPU will stop making my games lag, or a better graphics card, I dont know. But if it is possible to be able to upgrade to be able to run fallout 3 on low settings with no lag, for under $100, then please tell me how to do it. I am going to list all of the components of this comp ( dont laugh, I know it sucks.)

-BioStar P4M900-M7 FE Motherboard

-Intel Pentium Dual CPU @ 2.20

- XFX Georce 7300 se/ 7200GS

I just need something to hold get my by until I get enough money to build a new comp.

Thanks.

What PSU have you got? you would need a 450W to run that...

If you don't have a powerful PSU. Get a 500W PSU with 9600GSO
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817189014
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121320

That is more the $100 which he clearly stats he can't spend more then that. Besides with a low end card like a 9600GT/GSO or a 4670/4650 he won't even need a better PSU unless the one he has is just really terrible. I know what your going to say the card has a $20 dollar rebate right either way $50+$60=$100 you can not count the rebate when he only has $100 to spend.

If you do need a power supply I would go with this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153023

Then when you build your new system you can get another 4650 and crossfire them and you will basically have a 4850 you might have to get a new PSU well you don't have to but I would just in case you decide to upgrade again later.

Is $10 really that matter? Who know what he has got! So should I suggest him getting a $25 HEC585W PSU which probably be lower quality rather than having a slightly solid PSU of just spending extra $10 initially?
Borrow $10 from your friends and tell him you will return $20 2 weeks later! end of story!***************

Maybe you should look at the PSU on sale http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153023 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817703018

I´d second the 4670. If you got little cash and a low spec PSU that´s the card.
How much ram do you have ?

Uhh, it says AOpen, which is the brand of my case. So I guess itas an off brand.

Defiantly an off brand and your going to need a new PSU not doubt about it now we just got t figure out which PSU and Card will give you the best performance for that price. Do you have any extra money to put in your budget an extra $20 will get you much better card.
