Depending on how heavy/ what kind of games you're going to do..
I would say no because the graphics card is out dated and the processor is a little out dated too... I would get a quad for gaming.

But if I wouldn't suggest buying it if you want to play recent games, I'd put my money towards something that's more powerful and able

That Kuma is a very good cpu, with 4Gigs of RAM, and the 9600GT is a decent low end card.

It will run any recent game on low to medium settings with no issues.

Besides, it sounds to me like he already owns it or knows who does.

Watch out, alot of those people on craigslist and the sort use really low end power supplies. Ask for a brand, if its a cheap 500W off brand you have a ticking time bomb there.

Full computer builds on craigslist is just like buying from best buy. They only brag about "4GB of RAM, 500GB of HDD space, a quadcore CPU!" When in reality, there are four cores...that stink, the memory has bad timing and latency, the 500gb of hard drive space has low cache, and the motherboard is just enough to turn your pc on. Don't get me started about power supplies haha!

lol. yeah they just put 'icing' on their stuff so that it looks good. I really wouldn't want to buy my PC from bestbuy or craigslist anyways... Unless their having a really good deal on netbooks...
They don't know any of that stuff anyway... I challenge you to go to walmart and ask how much memory one of their laptops has. 80% of the time the person will either say " I don't know" Or "it says it right here, *points*, 250gb" :D
