Help virus!!!!!!!!

I think i have a virus on my computer.Its slow.One page wont load up.Plus it wont come off the screen.Can i run anything to clear this?

This belongs in Computer Security board.

Secondly, download malwarebytes, spybot search and destroy, and AVG Free. Boot into safe mode (Press F8 repeatedly when the computer is booting up to launch into the boot mentu). Then run full scans on malwarebytes and AVGFree. Remove what it tells you to remove.

After that, let us know how your computer is running, and in the future please read the board descriptions to make sure you're posting in the right spot. This section is mostly for building new computers.

what above poster said, but use avast! instead of avg free. much better. Once you have your computer all fixed up, put zonealarm free on it, or if you want you can buy it too.

it would help if we had more info on the "virus" to decide what to do to fix it. what exactly is happening OP?

I recommend either AVG or Avast. Malwarebytes is a good option aswell for spyware/malware on top of virus protection from avast or avg.
