my parents need a new pc. all they do is surf internet, use ms office, burn dvds, etc. I want to use high quality parts so that it wont break, and their budget is $400. they do absolutely no gaming, high def movies, or anything needed a good gfx card, that why im going with integrated gfx, or use my old geforce 7200. how does this look, please give input/advice. thanks, btw, i dont need an os.

I would drop the Phenom I 9650 and go with a Phenom II X3 710 or the Phenom II X3 720.
Plus I would go with this board. Got the best onboard video you can get.

im not loking for best onboard, and that is a micro atx. i have had horrible experiences with them and would like to stay away from them. the reason i chose that quad core is because it was $5 more than the triple core and it leaves more room for the future.

You can't build a pc from scratch for $400 including an OS
unless it's Linux.

Actually, that's all your folks would need really.
