Dell xps 200 help!?

Hello I have a dell desktop xps 200 and it only has a cd burner i would like to upgrade to a dvd burner can i do this? will I need to get any extra software or can i get the drivers online and does anyone know a part number any help is good thank you!

im not sure if the xps200 has sata or not, if u don't know i'd go with an ide drive just to be safe and it'll come with all the software u need to get it going.

Its a small thin one like in a laptop but its a desktop and it is sata
 
I think LG was one of the first companies to introduce a 22x DVD burner to the market. Try GH22LP20 ...it works good.
