Which manufacturer has the best battery?

The longest lasting battery is the 9-cell battery which every manufacture has but most only come with the 6-cell. If you configure a laptop online, you should have the option to use the 9-cell, or if you get lucky you might find one already installed on a laptop in big box store.

My Dell Latitude came with a 9-Cell and it lasts for at least 4-5 hours. I also had the option of getting a 12-cell extended life battery for another $200 bucks. Imagine how long that one lasts :)
 
My Toshiba came from the store with a 12 cell battery. And you should also look at the mAh rating as I would guess not all 6, 9, and 12 cell batteries are created equal.

Get what ya can afford.
Make sure ya read the
instructions and ya don't boil the battery
or running it to low during use.

read the instructions. Ive seen like my daughter
destroy a battery on the laptop and just burn it out
and exhausting completely. Same thing with battery
drills.
