OEM and Windows 7

About OEMs, can I make a DVD-Rom out of an OEM disc? Will it system restore? I've heard also that you can't change hardware once you've installed it using the OEM.
I'm going to be using Vista Home Premium 64-bit OEM for System Builders... What if my, say... sound card quits on me? Would I have to buy a new Vista CD?

Another thing (I apologize for all the questions) about Windows 7, can you play Windows XP games on it? For example, I know you can play Battlefield 2 on Vista, but will it neccesarily work on 7?

Again, I apologize for all the questions, but I want to be sure about something before I use my money on it.

OEM, yes you can do upgrades. When I have had to reactivate after so many upgrades they never have gave me any trouble. A OEM is tied more to the board then anything, but you can get by with replacing that to. It all depends on what you tell them. And yes B/F 2 runs on 7.

Oh, alright, is it recommended that I buy 7? Is it necessarily going to be better than Vista? I've heard even in Beta Testing it was already better. Is that true or just a rumor?

Yes, I like it better then Vista. Never liked Vista anyway but thats beside the point. You can get Vista with a free upgrade to 7.

I ordered the Vista Ultimate with Win 7 upgrade coupon from Newegg.

You use the coupon on Microsoft's site and there you go. It's an easy procedure. I'm looking forward to receiving it.
