Ever Have This Happen?

So I have run into my 3rd game that has done this now and I am curious if anyone else has issues like this on the same or other games.

STALKER
STALKER Clear Sky
Darkest of Days

Anytime I am watching a cinematic or are on the main menu my computer makes almost a whining sound...during no other games will this ever happen but happens each time on all 3 titles.

This happened on my last system as well...my 8800GT / X2 4400+


My question would have to be what causes it...but more so curious if anyone else has this anomaly happen.

Do you mean from the speakers or from the internal actual PC?
If internally, then it sounds as though it may be over-heating
Try opening it up and blowing out all internal Dust near the CPU and Video Card fans (actually everywhere)

If you mean through the speakers then re-confirm you have the latest sound drivers from your computer/motherboard manufacture support page
Also confirm all Windows Security Updates and Service Packs are completed
 
From my actual system.

My system wont over heat. After market coolers plus plus antec 900 = no air issues ever plus my room is 76 degrees.

I dust my PC monthly as well which was done 1 week ago in a house that gets vacuumed 3 times a week.

The point is no other game does it but these 3 and it happened on my last system which was 100% different from parts to the case.

Reason its strange to me ^-^
 
Sounds like its the video card and its pretty common. My 4890 does the exact same thing, when its at a game menu or anywhere where the framerate goes through the roof. Apparently its the transistors or sumthin on the card but yeh its pretty normal although some cards dont have it its kinda a hit and miss. My old x800 agp also did this.
 
Well Dean11 your right....I enabled vsync/tripple buffering and it doesn't happen anymore. What a strange thing to happen.
