i dont think so my college teacher told us about it, as long as you have a valid .edu email it should work

yea as a matter of fact i just did it, it verifies that the email is valid sends you a email you purchase the license code and download the iso when its available

Yes, membership is $19 and gets you access to 8 different keys to all versions of Windows 7 basically. ( I could be wrong, I just skimmed through)
 
Alright, this is off subject....but....

I like when I find a great software or good tips in peoples signature. For example, I used the Vista Tweak in Bodaggit's sig just the other day and I just tried and liked the Recuva software in Hobbyists sig. I love Ccleaner and never knew about this software. This could come in real handy sometime.
