Okay, so this really came out of nowhere, but one day I noticed that the fan on my heatsink wasn't working. Next time I tried turning my computer on, it wouldn't post. I'm not sure if this means my CPU is fried? What's weird is that the HSF won't work yet all the power is seems fine and all the wires are plugged in correctly.
If in the case that this would be my CPU and it did fry, is it a simple solution of just getting a new CPU or do I now run the risk of having a defected mobo as well? Btw, how can I even tell the CPU is fried?
Any responses that help me in the direction I need to go to fix this problem are to be much appreciated!
Thanks guys
edit: by the way, how do I remove the cmos from a ga-p35-ds3l? I tried looking online, in the manual, and just tried carefully, but no luck!
