Wonder what theyre like :)

Noticed on overclockers there are no 2gb versions of the 5870?

ohh immagine the 5890 with 2gb of vram....dribbles:P

i can see 2gb of vram being useful for extremely high resolutions but generally, most games won't require more than 1gb.

i'd still like to buy it... lol

Actually, with the eyefinitity mentioned earlier 2gb of ram would almost be a necessity as you could be gaming at (1920x3)*(1200) vs (1920*1200)

To be honest, I was expecting them to be much fast than this.... Werent they ment to be like faster that 295 easily???

Like the multi monitor feature, that is awesome.

Will wait for the price to drop a bit before I get one.

Does Nvdia have anything in the works that could compete?

GT300 is nvidia's answer to this, going to be closer to the end of the year from what ive heard.

Just think what the 5870x2 is going to be like in performance. Considering the GTX295 is a dual gpu card, and a single gpu comes dang close to it and beating it in any game that doesnt handle sli...i want to see quadfired 5870's hehe.
