Bad Wireless Card?

I have a two year old laptop and the wireless has worked fine on it the entire time, now though the wireless will work then suddenly cut out for no reason. The other computer that use wireless work fine, and i plugged in an ethernet cable and it worked fine as well. Is this a bad card probably?

Sounds like it could be the problem. I have never had a wireless card burn out on me. Did you unable/enable the device?

Wireless cards just like anything else can go bad. Where I work out of the hundreds of notebooks I have seen maybe one or two bad wireless cards.
What does the signal strength look like. Also try your notebook in another wireless network.
