This is pretty much exactly what is happening with me right now.

I have got the worst PC in the whole entire universe... And all i want to do is make it able to run call of duty 4 :( I currently only have 52GBP to spend but i can save up. I just want to buy something right now that will make it better.

This is my current system:

Mobo: Asus P5S800-VM
RAM: 512MB
CPU: Intel P4 2.93GHz
GPU: Some crap AGP thing thats not even worth talking about.
PSU: FSP250-60GEN 200W
HDD: Maxtor 6E040LO 30GB & ST3160021A 30GB

I suggest you stop creating threads on your issues, as they will be considered spam, and you may be banned.

I suggest you upgrade your Power Supply and find an AGP graphics card for now until you can afford a new build.

What is your current AGP card please...

I'm sorry about that but every thread i create seems to not get the right information across and ends up dying, so i have to create a new thread asking something else to get people to actually help me.

My current AGP card is:

General Information :
Manufacturer : Nvidia
Model : NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400
Bus Type : AGP
Total Memory : 64 MB
Texture Memory : 114 MB
Processor : GeForce2 MX/MX 400
Converter : Integrated RAMDAC
Refresh Rate (min/max) : 60/75 Hz

PSU and Card. Okay got it thanks :) I just don't know what PSU to get :/ I know what card to get though :D > http://www.ebuyer.com/product/143873

Thanks (:

You only started posting about your computer yesterday, so you simply haven't given enough time for people to respond. Not everyone is in the same time zone on this forum and sometimes it takes a day or to for a response.

Anyway, that graphics card should work well.

What's your budget for a power supply?

So you already have the vid card ordered and the 52 is the budget remaining?

If this was my upgrade what I would do is go for a PS in the 600 to 750 watt range which from you site you listed will fall under 30GBP as for the rest I would forgo the case unless there is some pressing need to replace it. What *I* would do is to at least put another memory stick on there to raise it up to at least 1gig or better.

As long as the current case has decent airflow there would be no real reason to replace it unless you are looking for "the cool factor".

My 2 cents worth anyway..

Yes thats right.

Just running it past you guys here. :) I NEED your approval xD

Not going to go wrong with the Kingston memory.. I've run it and Samsung for years and have had no problems. It may not be the the absolutely fastest out there but for the money it is rock solid and reliable.

Same goes for the PSU. The reviews seem to be very favorable and as long as the unit is stable and reliable you probably won't go wrong with it.
