No power to CPU

Sounds like your power supply blew. Might have even taken you whole computer with it. You wont know for sure until you try another power supply and see if it works.

A pop could have been one of many things: A GFCI tripping (check the outlet on the wall, if there is a reset button, push it), a fuse blowing (if you power supply has a fuse, replace it) or the PSU blowing (in which case you would need a new power supply and possibly a new computer)
