I have just built a new system here are my specs

MSI P55-CD53 Mobo
Intel i5 cpu
XFX Radeon HD4890
Kingston KVR1333D3N9K2/4G ram
AXP 630 watt power supply
Seagate sata hard drive
HP DVD/CD player

I push the power button and it flicks on then off with one very quiet beep as its turning off and continues to do this

Pretty much off the wall brand Power Supply to power a 4890. Plus did you put all the standoffs under the board in the right places?

are you getting beeps? or is the pc not turning on?

Did you connect the cases power to the motherboard? - okay i just saw that you said there was a beep, you will have to check the manual to see what that beep means, i will take a quick look.

I have read that one beep usuaaly mean ram problem i have removed and re inserted it and still does the same thing

well thats dual channel ram, and if the motherboard I sent you is the correct one.... then you have the wrong ram, Id create a new thread comparing your motherboard and ram and ask for an expert to see if they are compatible, i am confident the ram you bought is wrong, but get a second opinion please

Take Care
