Some chipsets may perform better than others, but simply having conflicting brands makes no difference with regards to your video performance.
I would recommend staying all AMD/ATI...why not? That would just feel weird throwing Nvidia into the mix

the nForce chipset is better that the 790FX chipset so ima stick with my choice but thanks for the recomendation!![]()
I'm not so sure about that.
Looks to me like the nForce 780a chipset only has 16 lanes for graphics, meaning one card would get 16x, two cards would get 8x/8x, and three cards would get 8x/4x/4x
The 790FX chipset has 32 lanes dedicated to graphics. While only two slots, you could run dual GPU cards at 16x/16x.
If I'm reading that right...
