Building a computer(a poor man's approach)

The stablepower is better quality and has more Amps on the +12V rails. The stablepower is also has 80% efficiency where the goodpower is only 70%. I'm sure bomber will explain more about the difference between the two to you he knows a lot about power supplies.

Good, because I don't know anything about them.

Doesn't Channel Well also make Corsair PSU? I have never heard of Enhance are they better the Channel Well?

Yes Channel Well makes some Corsairs/Xcilo/Thermaltakes/OCZ/Antec.

Enhance makes some BFG/Cooler Master/Silverstone/Tagan/Xcilo/Zalman

There both pretty good. Depends on the model of supply I guess.

I'm not entirely sure how windows keeps track of keeping more than one computer from using the same OS disk. Maybe it's just that two computers with the same serial number can't be connected to the internet at once or Bill Gates brings down maxwell's silver hammer. Linking an OS to the board would require rewriting the disk to only work on that computer.
Using a boot disk for the stock computer you may run into problems because it is used to see a certain motherboard, however me and my sister have the same model computer and can use each others boot disks.

dgrevillius is correct.

worst case you call Microsoft and have your activation reset, and tell them you're only using it on 1 computer. if windows 7 requires a new license for every motherboard change, it is the first i've heard... and a very serious mistake. i think Fatback is misunderstanding how microsft activation system works.

Not at all I have installed windows on plenty of custom built computers. I have swapped out my own motherboard plenty of times just to have windows not activate. If you have ever talked to somebody at Microsoft that can speak English and knows what they are doing then more power to you. I don't care what there EULA says things do not always work like they are supposed to.
