Cant log into live messenger and slow typing, please help urgently...

I have had this problem for a while and noone seems to help. Here is the story: I share a computer with 2 other ppl. on my account msn works and on their it doesnt. i tried making an new account but doesnt work on that either.

I have win xp pro sp3. i have downloaded the latest messenger and drivers for everything. i log in fine but the other two accouts...

when u type it types the username slowly but the password normal speed. then when try and log in it doesnt work. i have tried using messegner error fixer with no luck.

i have run out of ideas and do not want to format too much to loose no time to waste.

Please help is urgent they gotta use it.

Is the MSN messenger on the same user account or do they have their own login for the computer also (user account not MSN name)?

hi thanks for the reply. they have their own login for the computer also. it used to work but not any more. it workes on mine but noone elses, not even a new account. and also they all have admin privileges.

Where do their accounts for MSN get stuck on. Will they just not connect to MSN and sign on or what? Go to your settings under MSN and see if there is a place to reset the settings for the connections. For AOL it is Edit > Settings > Connection > Reset. These steps should be similar in MSN. Post back with results.

their accounts to beging with when typing is slow. i type it in and 7 seconds later it will appear. but when it starts to sign in it gives me an error message. I did a test and it said connected allright. i gave three screenshots below. the test, the settings screen and the error message. any help will be appriciated.

Hey, check, maybe we have the same bug, cause our systems are the same. On those user accounts that msn is bugged, can you use search? Simple windows search

sorry i cant remember how i fixed it. i have an msn fixer. cant remember if it worked or not was a long time ago. do u have the same system as me? cool. again im sorry cant remember how it was resolved but i have formatted my system since i posted.
