Ive been wanting to get a new power supply for my computer, its reached the point where if I turn the power off from the main plug socket, the computer wont turn on unless I leave the plug on for at least 20mins first. Right now my computer isnt even working properly, when I do get it turned on it simply freezes on me after about 10seconds when the desktop has loaded and I have to restart.
I went to Amazon.co.uk and purchased the first power supply I could find and recieved it about 20mins before writing this post.. problem is its too big for my computer since my com is a slim line edition and I havnt a clue what power supply to buy because none of them say for slimline computers.
This is the power supply I purchased http://www.amazon.co.uk/450W-Gold-S...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1255434571&sr=8-1
Doesn anyone know where I can get an affordable power supply which will fit in my slimline computer, I have an account on Amazon already so if you could find one from there it would be preferable at www.amazon.co.uk
This is the computer I have with its specs here http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-LS2300-650-300GB-2048MB/dp/B000BKHGSI
Any help is appreciated, I cant really afford to pay for another mistake with the wrong power supply. Would be so much easier if they actually just said "can be used for slimline computers" but I suppose that would be too easy.
