Good FPS games other than war games. And halo

So tired of all the war games, and I just suck ass at halo, nor do I play online cuz that's even worse.. So what are some fun ones? Dead space, left for dead, fallout 3 , gears of war etc etc?

I'm not sure if the online comment was just directed at Halo or not, but if online games aren't out of the question you should check out Team Fortress 2. Instantly fun with barely any learning curve, unlimited replayability considering Valve updates it frequently with new maps, weapons, abilities, etc.

I know you are sick of war games, but Operation Flashpoint 2 is fantastic, and not your average war game either. It could best be described as a combat simulator, a typical war game like Call of Duty, and a real time strategy game all rolled into one. Highly recommended.

B-b-but... Halo is awesome! :P

Anyway: Crysis (also Crysis Warhead), Team Fortress 2, Half Life 2, Left 4 Dead, and Unreal Tournament III are all excellent games... those were the first that came to my mind.

If you want a bargain I'd recommend the Orange Box if you don't already have it, it comes with 3 HL2 games, TF2, and Portal for like $30. :good:

Flashpoint I'm gonna try for sure, the orange box, I will buy that as well but I'm not sure if I want it for 360 or pc.

Left for dead and fallout 3 I'm really wanting to try as well

So many games man. Tough to decide. And like I said in my other thread. I might actually want to try out the game I Said I never would.. WoW. And since it's only $20 , I'm sure that's well wiry the replay value. The game seems like it would go forever

As long as you have Xbox Live it's just a matter of preference, but definitely get it for PC if you don't have Xbox Live, TF2 requires it. If you're going to get Left 4 Dead I'd get it for 360 though, that way you can play with friends on the same screen in the same room and they don't all have to have a copy of their own as they would with the PC version. But then if you don't have Xbox Live you can't play online, so hopefully you have Xbox Live. :P

Personally I wouldn't get WoW, but... to each his own I guess. You can always get the 10-day trial and decide if you want to buy it that way though. Speaking of trials, there's a free Crysis demo I'd recommend, it's one level of the game and it's not time limited or anything. Might want to check it out. Here's a link to where you can get it: http://games.ea.com/crysis :)

Thanks man, yea I like console games a bit more but that's cuz I grew up never playing pc games. So if I do buy a pc game it's probably going to be something exclusive, that's only on pc. And I do have xbox live ( dominion78229 ) :)

so just curious. Compared tithe gpu in my laptop ( gtx 260m ) I'm getting. How much berltter or worse are the ones in the 360 and ps3

A GTX 260 is better than both, but the Xenos (360 GPU) is a bit tricky to compare. Anyway though, if 360 is what you enjoy more, go for it. :)
