Xp is getting swiped?

hi,

i went to Harvey Norman's yesterday, i was looking for a laptop, the guy told me i cant get xp on it because they will swipe it from the internet, EVERYWERE! anyways i am going to get windows 7 because i brought another 1gig of ram which it should run well.
 
they are taking it away from everywhere e.g no more updates, the last updates are on the website now, thats why computer shops are getting there stock out for windows 7 laptops and desktops so the computers will be at top price. so next week there will be no games and software sutible with windows xp, VISTA and WINDOWS 7 are the only OS for games.

thats been a well known fact for ages
Windows XP will remain in what Microsoft calls "mainstream support" to April 14, 2009, and continue in "extended support" though April 8, 2014,
